¡Hey! It's Madeleine G.
I'm a UX/product designer from LA. I grew up in a mixed culture household where I learned at a young age that one experience can be interpreted in many ways depending on the person. Growing up in this environment I gained the skill of translating one person's ideas/perspective to another.
Though I was a translator, I had the tendency for taking things apart and putting it back together in a more aesthetic way. I always gravitated to fixing things I deemed clunky and unintuitive and tried to make them seamless and sleek. Through this fascination I found myself major in computer science.
Computer science has taught me to think logically and simply, less is more. Though I enjoyed coding, my natural inclinations have always been to create and design. Now, I use my skills of translation to understand the needs of the user and convey them in the company's product. I work to improve a product to help illustrate its purpose and usefulness to users.
